On the eve of the 29th anniversary of Independence Day, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev pardoned 113 citizens

On August 27 on the eve of the 29th anniversary of Independence Day, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev pardoned 113 citizens, serving sentences for their crimes, who sincerely repented of their actions and firmly committed not to committing a crime. Of those pardoned, 5 were released from life imprisonment, 53 released on parole, 15 replaced with a lighter sentence as well as the terms of imprisonment of 40 people significantly reduced
