TRAVEL ADVICE TO UZBEKISTAN

Due to worsening of the global situation with the coronavirus COVID-19 and its declaration by WHO as a pandemic in order to prevent the spread of the disease into the territory of Uzbekistan the Special Government Commission decided with effect from 14 March 2020:

1. To suspend all flights between Uzbekistan and France, Spain and the UK;

2. To introduce a temporary ban on entry into the territory of Uzbekistan through all kinds of border checkpoints to citizens of the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, the Italian Republic, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the French Republic and the Kingdom of Spain, as well as persons permanently residing in these countries. It also applies to all foreign nationals who have visited these states in the past 14 days.

These restrictions do not apply to the holders of diplomatic and service (official) passports, and persons who have not travelled to these countries in the past 14 days.

*The UK nationals and residents travelling to Uzbekistan are subject to self-isolation and medical monitoring within 14 days of arrival.
