Uzbekistan’s National Strategy on human rights has been disseminated as an official document of the UN General Assembly’s 74th session in six UN languages. In recent years, Uzbekistan has carried out systematic work to strengthen the legislative & institutional framework for the protection of human rights, international standards implementation into Uzbekistan’s national legislation. Having acceded to over 80 international human rights documents, including. 6 core treaties & 4 UN optional protocols, Uzbekistan constantly presents its national reports to the HRC & UN treaty committees on their implementation.
